Paradise Wordpress Theme is a nice design made by my friend Philip. This is the dark version of his previous theme and I must say it’s one of the most eye catching themes I have seen. It uses the standard 3 column layout with the content in the middle and the navigation on the left hand side with a calendar in the right hand side widget. The color scheme works well with this theme as the black, white and yellow text stands out on the light brown background and the graphic in the header looks unique and adds a great sense of style and peace of mind to it.

BlueFresh Theme v1.0
June 5th, 2007 · 1 Comment
Want a new fresh wordpress theme for your blog? We have the perfect one for you, its clean, simple, professional, seo friendly and XHTML valid. What more do you want for free?
The great thing about this theme is the fact it looks like its hovering over the white background, good use of shadowing has been used on this and it definitely has worked!
The colour pallet works so well together with the blue, green and black font on a white background. If I was to sum this theme up in one word I would more then likely use – “Fresh” It looks so clean and professional it will instantly make you blog look elegant!
This design is using the 2 column approach which it easily pulls off, on the left is the content taking up around 70% of the space and then on the right it has the navigation and you can install your widgets in there for consumers to use!
You can see a working demo at http://tekvibe.com and you can download it here.

Grayard Theme 1.0
June 4th, 2007 · No Comments
This theme created and designed by Philip M. Tiangson from a glance looks classy and very professional. The first thing to stand out in my opinion is the gradient background which starts off blue and goes into white as the page goes down.
The overall design is based into 3 columns with a top navigation that stretches from left to right across the top of the screen. This is a commonly used design today simply because it works! It’s clean, simple and makes navigation a whole lot easier for the user. The colour scheme for this theme works so well together, with the sharp blue at the top fading to white with the orange mouse over the hyperlinks in the right hand navigation making them stand out.

The WebPuffs Network
April 9th, 2007 · No Comments
Here are two interesting sites with interesting names. Webpuffs.net and Webpuffs.com. Jon Lewis first started the Webpuffs Network nearly a year ago with Webpuffs.com and then later Webpuffs.net evolved from the .com site.
Webpuffs.net is a blog that focuses stricly on WordPress related topics. At Webpuffs.net you can find free Wordpress themes (www.webpuffs.net) and reviews of Wordpress plugins. If you are a WordPress theme designer, you can submit your themes there. Webpuffs.net is a newer addition to the Webpuffs network, but you can see that it has potential to become a very valueable WordPress resource site.
Webpuffs.com has a different focus, but by reading the about page, you can really understand what the blog is about:

WordPress Plugins Directory
March 18th, 2007 · No Comments
I’m happy to see that WordPress has finally created a public directory for plugins. Developers will now have a central place to submit and promote their plugins. Users can rate, comment, and download any plugins they want. It can also provide notification inside WordPress panel about plugin updates.
