Myspace Layouts

July 2nd, 2007 · 2 Comments

Yes I do have to admit I am a Myspace user. I am barely getting into managing my myspace layout. And I think I am getting pretty good at. Also, I am looking into Myspace Trains to add friends. I am also adding plenty of my favorite videos and music I enjoy listening to and or watching. And I am blogging as well using my Myspace blog.

So because of me trying to tweak out my Myspace. I always look for new things to add to it. Quite often websites will have Myspace layout options as well as Myspace graphics. One such website I stumbled upon had skinny myspace layouts as well as default myspace layouts. Some nice features to add to Myspace. I especially like the Skinny Myspace Layouts. To me that is easier on the eyes to read and keeps everything lined up and easier to follow.

Check things out at Myspace Resource. So many default layoutsto choose from.

Myspace As A Marketing Tool?

April 7th, 2007 · No Comments

Have you ever had the experience of something popping up for you several times in a short period of time? That happened to me last week with MySpace.

First my nephew, a professional rapper (he is playalytical for those of you into rapping), was telling us over dinner how well his business is going and that he has over 30,000 “friends” on MySpace. Which meant absolutely nothing to me. To put things in comparison for us his girlfriend told us she has 20 friends. All of us “old folks” told him we had never been to MySpace.

MySpace came up again the next day. One of the blogs I subscribe to announced a teleclass on using MySpace as a marketing tool and was going to talk about how to promote your book there. I took note of that because I had never heard of using MySpace for marketing before and thought about how MySpace (which I had still never visited) wouldn’t apply to my business.

Myspace Profile Fun Add-ons

April 6th, 2007 · 5 Comments

Myspace is now ranking as one of the top websites on the Internet. In social networking, it is right at the top in the world. What is that which makes myspace so successful? I believe that the ways in which users can play with their profile is one of the reasons. A user can express his/her individuality on the profile in many different ways and it would not surprise me if shortly a competition is held for the best profile. Here are some lovely ideas to add to your profile.

Crazy Text Flash Banners

In this, you are given four variables. Flash banner size, text color, background color and background effect. You can select your own for these four. One can create very imaginative and creative banners with different text message and use it on the profile. The banner can also be used as a comment for friends. Try them.

Cool Clocks Generator

You can design a lovely clock with this. Select your own color, the size and the text design. Get the code and paste the clock in your profile. The moving hands look lovely and you can change your clock color everyday to add fun. This brings more variation to your profile.

Blogging, Vlogging, YouTube And MySpace

March 30th, 2007 · 1 Comment

If you’re reading this, you already know that I’ve been blogging. I also recently started vlogging. If you haven’t already asked why, I’ll tell you. I felt that I have a lot to say and needed an outlet. No, not just some sort of random rant, but a means of sharing with others my views and opinions. And yes, I do seem to have quite a few! I also wanted to share with others more information about the business I conduct.

Of course I try to focus most of my communications on business related topics, however, I will on occasion take a tangent on life and other observations. I think this article would be categorized as a tangent. The point is I believe that I can provide a lot of good insight into business as well as some good general life guidance. Now don’t think that I think I’m all knowing and that I’m perfect or infallible, etc. It’s just that sometimes I notice things. Take it for what you will

MySpace Now Powered By Google

December 4th, 2006 · 7 Comments

I just noticed myspace.com now showing the “powered by Google” logo. This comes as no surprise to me as the two company already made a deal just a few months ago. It was actually a $900M advertising deal with myspace. Myspace now uses Google’s search engine along with the contextual advertisements that Google is serving.
