Made me wonder where google really gets those storage space. Well, I actually found the answer. Here’s a nice artwork from Joy of Tech.

I just learned earlier from a guy named Pierce in DP forums that Matt Cutts’ blog has been hacked. Some members say it’s just an April Fool’s joke but I don’t think Matt would do such joke as it is against Google and not very funny. This one is certainly an April Fool’s joke. And this one. And this one, and this one, and this one…:)

From one of Matt’s latest posts he noticed some weird errors after upgrading his blog from WordPress 2.0.x to 2.1.2.

If you’re reading this, you’re probably already advertising on Google. Or at least considering it. Am I right?
What if I told you that there are a couple of alternatives to Google AdWords Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising that could only cost you between 10% and 33% per click? How can this be?
It’s no secret that Google has the vast majority of click traffic on the internet - and as unhealthy as that is, its not going to change anytime soon. Most PPC specialists will tell you if you’re not advertising on Google, you’re history.
But with some clicks going for more than $15 each, for high-end and lucrative products and services such as computer servers and credit card merchant accounts, isn’t it time to look for effective alternatives? Serious advertisers should consider alternative pay-per-click services.

Like many of you, I am always trying to find as much information as I can on Search Engine Optimization. And also like many of you, I am doing it myself. I read online and buy books on search engine optimization and many of them all say the same things, just in a different way.
Sadly with most search engines the solution is simply the number of links pointing back to your site. The search engines feel that they can control the quality of their search results by focusing on the websites that have a large number of links pointing to them. Simply put, it’s a popularity vote. Their reasoning is that if nobody else thinks your site is important, why should they index it.

I’m not sure if I know Ann Coulter but searching for it in Google I found out that she’s a best-selling author, columnist and a political commentator.
Ann Hart Coulter (born December 8, 1961) is an American best-selling author, columnist and conservative political commentator. She frequently appears on television, radio and as a speaker at public and private events.
Known for her controversial style and unabashedly provocative views, she has been described by The Observer as “the Republican Michael Moore”, and “Rush Limbaugh in a miniskirt”. Coulter has described herself as a “polemicist” who likes to “stir up the pot” and makes no pretense at being “impartial or balanced”.
Oh I see.
So if you are into internet marketing and always on the look out for new potential keyword that might bring in some traffic if you optimize for it, try ann coulter.
Let’s see how much traffic will this post bring.

Google is finally showing backlinks to my new sites. Using the link: command my MySpacetopia.net shows 56 backlinks while my EarthWeaver.info shows 12. Not Bad. I’m hoping for either PR5 or PR4 for these sites.
Some users at DP Forums and Webmasterworld have also noticed the backlink updates. Check out these forum threads:

Just last year, we heard rumors about Google talks with Orange about a million dollar partnership to make Google phone. It would have been nice to have a Google-branded phone where you can access Google services like Gmail, blogger, calendar, maps or even Adsense wherever you are.
In 2005, Businessweek has reported Google acquiring Android, a company who had at that time been working on an OS(operating system) for mobile phones. This could just be Google’s initial step to push its wireless services. Simeon Simeonov posted about Andy Rubin, Android’s founder, “has a team of about 100 people at Google working on the Google Phone”. According to Simeon’s source, Google’s phone could be:

Just a few weeks ago(Jan. 9, 2007) when forum members of Search Engine Roundtable reported changes on Google’s PageRank toolbar. I have checked my sites both old and new ones during that time but their PR didn’t change. But today I’m seeing changes in my sites’ PageRank. My myspace-layouts.linkchannels.com site jumped from PR0 to PR5, articlewheel.com from PR4 to PR5, and some other sites as well.
