The current DUI trend among rich and famous perpetual party girls is extremely disturbing. Does partying like a rockstar entail driving with a suspended license, driving under the influence, and committing other traffic violations?

We all know and understand that girls like Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Nicole Richie enjoy socializing and partying with friends. It is widely understood that partying often involves drinking.

What most of us do not understand is why these rich party girls are risking their lives and the lives of others by driving under the influence. They have the money and resources to hire a driver to take them anywhere they want to go. They could party themselves into drunken stupors if they so choose and have their driver take them home.
