Succeeding in something doesn’t mean you have to do great. Earning the hearts of millions of people doesn’t mean you have to have what they have. Having success and people’s hearts is entirely based upon the question, do you really want it? To tell you the truth, there’s at least one internationally popular competition that proves this, and I’m sure you’re familiar with it, the American Idol.
Basically this competition is about people who sing just to get America’s vote in order to get the American Idol title. It’s simple, really but whoever said that everything was easy? Here, you don’t need to rely just on your talent; you have to have the guts to actually do it. True enough resident judge Simon Cowell would throw out some heart breaking comments on you but if you have the attitude—the good attitude of course—you’ll make it through. Take Kelly Clarkson and the others as your inspiration.
You don’t have to be the best to achieve what you’re dreaming of. You just have to believe in yourself, that you can make it despite the adversities. Don‘t be the best. Aim for the best. That’s what American Idol means. It is basically just a competition but actually it also gives you the strength to stand up when you fell down.
