Flower Blossom

It was an anniversary that almost turned hell! I was too busy in the office, thinking about everything beside the most important thing, me and my girlfriend’s anniversary.

Everything was okay, until my girl rang me – talking about a date that I forgot she set up. Sound tragic, and never in my dreams would I be perplexed by such situation. I was the perfect boyfriend, always in schedule and always the classic sweet type of guy. But on that instance, basically because of work and my new boss, I simply forgot everything about that date. My lips mumble nothing but “yeah, oh, yes, how can I forget that”. But my girl knows me, she readily know that I have forgotten it.

And there appears my boss. Luckily, upon seeing me stumped after the phone call he gave the answers right at that moment. He gave me a site that he told made him win his wife’s heart. It turned out that site was his hero. He gave his then girlfriend a bouquet of red rose, talk about being old school. And like an Edison’s bulb lighting my almost doomed mind, my girlfriend really liked tulips. She always talked about how lovely that will look on an antique vase that her grandma gave him. A bouquet of irresistible pink tulips, those flowers, I’m pretty sure that giving her flowers will erase any slight hatred on me regarding that incident – and so it did.
