Work at home moms is now one of the largest growing groups on the internet - And increasing every single day! The variety of home-based businesses is so much larger than it ever used to be, and according to research a new on line business is created every 10 seconds.

Work at home moms is nothing new of course, and throughout time many mothers and wives have made some extra money doing flexible jobs in their spare time from the comfort of home in a variety of ways. Work at home moms are the future, and many of us are running successful online businesses as well as looking after our families, along with many stay at home Dads too of course.

Thousands of work at home moms are changing their futures with real opportunities, you can too, and because of this, many work at home moms are now scrambling and searching for the “perfect” home-based business. Truth be told “nothing is ever perfect” but some come extremely close to it, that’s for sure.

So, while most of the working world is singing the “Thank God It’s Friday” tune, myself, along with many other work at home moms are saying “What day is it again?” (Just Kidding)… but it is nice, along with no more dreaded Monday mornings!

No more sitting in traffic for hours, bit of a silly story here, but I’ll tell it anyway,

Sometimes when I do have to go out in the mornings, I am luckily usually heading in the other direction from most of the traffic. I always feel like I want to jump out the car and run along the road, handing out my business cards while they are all stuck there not moving, & save them all, or at least say “Hey! do you really want to keep sitting in traffic for the rest of your life?” I do realize working from home isn’t for everyone, but I can’t even begin to imagine having to be doing that ever again. Maybe some of them have a job they love, (more power to them) but odds are most of them don’t. “Sad fact, but true”

One lady in our business for example, replaced her husbands income in only a few months, & he was one of the most skeptical people when she first got started. Needless to say, he isn’t any more. So it is absolutely possible.

Obviously stay at home moms all want to make a success of their business ventures as well as bringing up their children in a healthy environment, but it does take some time & effort. If you do have the desire to be one of the work at home moms you hear about everywhere, then what?

What are you going to do? What are the business opportunities available?

Just do a search on Google for “work from home” or “business opportunities” there are literally millions of them.. So how do you decide? It can be tricky!

First do some research, find out what others are saying about it, check out review sites, although many of the reviews can be a bit biased as they are usually selling what they are reviewing, so just do your due diligence.

Some other things to consider:

How much time do you have?

Time Management for your Home Business can be a serious issue for some work at home moms. You want your home business to be a success, but you don’t want the rest of your responsibilities to get left behind. Set aside a certain amount of time each day that is do-able for you, preferably while your children are at school maybe or if you have young babies, while they are taking a nap. The little darlings can be quite distracting can’t they? And more often than not, during important phone calls or while you are half way through something you really do need to get done.

Try to find something simple to start with!

The reality is that the “get rich quickly” scenario, while it is possible, is probably highly unlikely. Depending on your experience of course, there can also be a steep learning curve, especially when you are new to the internet.

A more likely scenario, is the slow growth of a real business that will require some work and dedication for it to become really successful.

Also Find something that you enjoy doing!

That way at least if you are doing something you love, it makes it that much easier, and more likely for you to keep going, even if things do go wrong, as they quite often can and will in the beginning.

My first year & a half online, was a complete disaster, I don’t mind admitting that. I’d learn one thing, & then it would disappear or become obsolete and everything changes so rapidly now, what worked 6 months ago, may not now, but I did learn some very valuable lessons along the way, and spent a lot of time & energy on the wrong things, that is why I say find something you enjoy, then keep doing it till it works, & never quit! till you do…

My number one tip, would be to learn as much about online Marketing as you possibly can, that way whatever home based business you do decide to pursue, you will be set for life.
