Top Of the Line Sportsbook Sites

October 31st, 2007 · No Comments

I have recently visited Top USA Online Casinos – a web-based casino reviews site - as I was thinking of maybe investing on a poker table. The site has an unsophisticated feel that it makes you want to visit it everytime you feel the urge to visit a top online sportsbook. That’s why I got it bookmarked.

The site provides information to any individual like me who wants to play a game of poker online. It’s got the bare essentials and it does not go beyond what is necessary to have in a web page like how to contact them and whatnot. NO overemphasize designs, NO eye-blinding ads and banners, and NO flash animations – which make the site so user-friendly thus creating an efficiency impression of the page.

Wired Love

October 31st, 2007 · No Comments

Still looking for that perfect gal, or guy, whatever the case may be? Your friends may hook you up with a certain individual in a party this Halloween or maybe some other time. But the problem with this arrangement is that you would start from scratch. Meaning you don’t know the other person and there is that big chance that you might not like her or him at all.

Being a blog reader and possibly a blogger on your own, I am sure that you spend a lot of time on the wired world. So why not put the Internet to good use and use it to look for that gal or guy for you?

Here’s one that I found to be really cool. Date.com is one of those online dating services out there in the Web. But Date as we are gonna call it from hereon in is not “just one” of the hordes of online dating services today.

Helping Hand Over The Net

October 31st, 2007 · No Comments

On third-world countries, healthcare is a big problem. Thousands die because they could not afford the medicine that they need. Thus, people living on industrialized countries should be thankful. And we should be even more thankful that the Internet is now being used by trailblazing individuals to reach out to those with health problems.

Although there are a lot of doctors out there, it is still somewhat frustrating sometimes to look for a doctor when you need it the most. DocShop.com is one site which allows common people like us contact doctors any time of day through the Internet.

With the site easily accessible on the Web, you can find a doctor in your area. And not only that, you can also check their specialization without even taking a step out of your house. If you have trouble with extra flesh right there in the abdomen region of yours, you can contact bariartic surgeons at DocShop.

Perfect Scent for Christmas!

October 31st, 2007 · No Comments

50 days more to go before Christmas, and I am excited to distribute my gifts to friends and loved ones. I already bought them since October and November are the biggest-sale-of-the-year months. For my close friends I decided to give them a set of perfumes and fragrances. For the ladies, I give away selected ladies perfumes, in small bottles of course. And for the gentlemen, I collected some nice aftershaves.

All of these I purchased via SendMeScent online. It was actually hassle-free buying these stuffs there. I have big savings, plus it’s not even tiring to shop. I bookmarked the site since I love perfumes – collecting them is one of my hobbies. I can’t wait for another grand site-wide sale again!

Alternatives to Books

October 28th, 2007 · No Comments

The e-book has been a long time in coming. Way back in the 1980s, when the Personal Computer was in its infancy, we were told that the logic was inescapable: now that ordinary people could read text on a screen, then the days of the printed page were numbered. There was a better way. After all, the Personal Computer - we were assured - would soon be in every office, in every home, and it would give everybody access to the biggest library in the world, in digital form. In the future, so the story went, you would walk into someone’s new house and the most striking feature would be that there would be no bookshelves. There would be no need for any! All data would be stored on disks, out of sight.

That first myth is the easiest to deal with. People still have shelves, but they’re not necessarily groaning under the weight of books, no. But they probably contain other media, such as CDs, DVDs, videotapes (since people haven’t all moved on yet) and, even, surprise, surprise, that throwback to the 1970s, the cassette tape. Well, cassettes are considered a bit old-fashioned now, and many home entertainment centres don’t include a means to play them, like they used to. But people like cassettes. They are small, convenient, easy to carry around in your pocket, and could be played anywhere - in the home, the office and your car. Yes, but CDs are better, we are told. Better sound quality, better - Hold on, they aren’t better. As many a computer nerd knows, a round plastic disc is not more convenient than a small plastic box.

Adware Annoys Me

October 26th, 2007 · No Comments

What annoys me most is pop-ups jumping out of nowhere and cluttering up my hard drive. I am online all day and I have to be careful not to allow my computer to be ambushed by adware and spyware programs. So, I have to take extra precautions not to get caught up in the spyware trap and allow my pc to be slowed down or even crashed. I will make sure that every site that I go to has a reputable look to it and if I am unsure I leave quickly to prevent issues.

I also make sure that I have a spyware remover to protect myself online and to make sure that I am not being ripped off. Yes, you can get your personal information taken from you. How, well if you some how get a spyware or adware downloaded to your pc then the spyware can track your every move and allow the thieves to steal your information and use it to steal your money. Make sure that all your spybot knowledge is up to date as well as your spyware remover software, so you will not have to worry about this type of crap.

Trouble Free Computing

October 25th, 2007 · No Comments

With all my ranting on computer maintenance you would think one might achieve what others call “trouble free” computing…not a chance.

By no means am I saying that you cannot achieve at least a better computing experience, but “trouble free”?

First lets think about this. I have heard and I quote “Computers don’t make mistakes..its the user that makes em!”. Ok I gotta say this and I hope someone is listening. Computers are a great piece of technology, but remember the internal workings such as hardware and software are completely designed by a human animal. So wouldn’t that make them as fallible as the people who design them?

Honestly… computers are only as infallible as the engineer who designs the components or software.

Don’t give up hope though. You can make your experience at least a more pleasant one. Although reaching for an unattainable goal will simply frustrate you. The best tool you can have is knowledge.

Where To Find Last Minute Holidays

October 25th, 2007 · 1 Comment

Unexpected holiday travel? It is indeed not a fun and enjoying thing to search for a place to spend a last minute holiday. You absolutely do not have time to look for the best places and you have to take chances in booking and reservations in hotels and airplane tickets. These things in mind, you should always look for businesses that can help you fix these stuffs and allow you to enjoy your not-so-planned holiday.

So how do you find Last Minute Holidays? Here are some wise tips:

  • Call a friends – it is always useful to ask your friends or relatives for referrals. They might have some best tips on where to go, and some booking companies to refer. Word of mouth is always effective because you trust the one that shares it.
  • Look for local travel companies through directories. This is a good thing for those who don’t want to look in other places but from the nearest. From there, you can talk to travel/booking agents and confirm your on the spot travel right away.
  • Searching online is also one of the easiest things to do. No need to leave your place while looking for the perfect holiday locations.

Fast searching is the key to a successful and fun getaway. So there is actually no reason for you not to celebrate and enjoy! Have a happy searching!

How to Learn Computer Programming Fast

October 24th, 2007 · No Comments

Computer programming is not for everyone, working with computers constantly is hard work not physical work but very much mental. The drawbacks of working with computer are you cannot really work outside, tired eye and some days I personally cannot go near my computer. In saying that I love working with computers. My first computer was a commador 64bit and since then technology has integrated into nearly everything in modern life.

One huge lie is that you need a college degree to work as a computer programmer. Computer Programming has well paid jobs anywhere in the world, if you feel up to the task of learning a useful new skill. It is possible that you can learn computer programming in under 4 weeks if devoted enough.

I find it hard to dedicate oneself to learning no matter what age, but I believe with the right motivation anyone can learn to do anything, and start a new career in one of the fastest growing sectors in the world. You can learn from experts worldwide and learn what you need to know for the high paying Programming jobs. The first time I looked at computer code and languages I was totally confused, but I learned the computer languages and after practice to code quicker.

More Nosebleed Dive for Mortgage Industry

October 24th, 2007 · No Comments

As of today more homeowners fail to keep up on their adjustable-rate mortgages. Therefore more and more families are loosing their homes. Despite some resolutions created both by the government and loan agencies, the foreclosure volume continues to increase. This issue on mortgage industry has been expanding.

Secretary Henry Paulson Jr. - Treasury Federal Reserve officials and private economists – said “what’s become a full-blown housing recession threatens the overall economy. A sharp drop in home building and falling house prices could stifle consumer spending, raise unemployment and further spook the financial markets.”

According to USAToday.com, more than 2 million homeowners are behind on mortgages. And 2 million more borrowers with tarnished, or subprime, credit will see their payments rise before the end of next year as their adjustable-rate mortgages, or ARMs, reset to higher levels that could prove unaffordable.

My Journey Into Mobile Learning

October 24th, 2007 · No Comments

For the last 4 or 5 years I have been on an amazing journey into the fascinating world of mobile learning.

Yes, I know that we all hear and learn things while driving in the car or walking along the path with family and friends but what I am talking about is the delivery of training and lessons by means of mobile phones, pocket PCs and other portable devices.

In Australia there are 19.7million mobile phones - not bad for a country of 21 million people. I keep wondering how many babies are owners of mobile phones…

For the first couple of years I was interested in and distracted by the actual technology and what it could do. I had the most amazing time buying up all sorts of bits of equipment that offered various sorts of communication and mobility. What I learnt from that was that technology evolves at a rapid rate and you can safely assume that new technology is out of date within 90 days!

I presented the range of technology to many conferences and became known as the one who always has the newest “toy” to show off.
