Mac Blog

Most blogs are a dime a dozen, they are free or nearly free to set up, and are filled with mindless garbage. It is refreshing when you stumble across a blog that is actually worth reading. I have my Netvibes page full of feeds that I read each day. It has been quite a while since I added a new feed to my page. Well, today was the day I was able to add a new feed.

As you all know, I am a heavy duty mac user, both at home and at work. I carry my iPod everywhere, and can't wait to get my hands on the new iPhone. Many of the sites I check on a regular basis are mac sites, so it is no surprise my new feed is a mac blog. Mac Shout is written for guys like me, guys who love macs but don't have a ton of time. Their focus is on applications and utilities that make your mac life easier.

So, how did you find them, you ask. I was using Gmail, and while I was waiting for an email, I was noticed the storage Gmail gives you is nearly 3 Gigs. After a year of using Gmail full time, I have used only a small percent of that (12% to be exact). It got me thinking about how I could use that space. A quick Google search lead me to this article:

Using Gmail as File storage

Just what I needed, a quick way to store clips and files in Gmail's free storage. Mac Shout also other articles that were equally helpful. Whether you are looking for cool mac tips, apple rumors or just a decent blog to read, definitely check out Mac Shout.
